Emphasis on Sustainable Livelihoods
The creation of an extensive regional network of organic agriculture that is actively driven can set the seed literally for its large scale adoption. The continuous mobilization of the beneficiaries will act as a training of trainer?s programme that will strengthen skills and lay the foundation for an ongoing activity.
The actual transition towards organic agriculture can only be successful if it manifests as a grass roots movement that is backed by a strong central player. Further the opening up of opportunities for exposure to training, international trade fairs, certification and standards here again on the grass roots levels can truly set the seed of sustainability to a movement such as this.
