The Development of Environmentally Friendly Waste Charcoal in Briquette Project as an Alternative Fuel to Substitute Kerosene
Project Development Goal:
Increasing the involvement of community in developing renewable energy through the production of charcoal briquette made from organic waste around coastal area and TPA.
Expected Outputs:
1. Increasing the use of charcoal briquette made from organic waste in TPA and coastal area.
2. Decreasing the use of gasoline by local community
3. Reducing waste problems, especially in TPA area, coastal area, and watershed area.

1. Preparation

1.3 Producing young coconut leaf

2.1 Burning process
2.2 Cooling process
3. Final Process
3.1 Grinding process
3.2 Packing and packaging
3.3 Utilization and Marketing (for business purpose)
4. Developing Organization and Capacity
4.1 Developing organization in electricity management
4.2 Developing community economic organization
4.3 Developing organization in local water resource and forest management
4.4 Developing small-scale productive business
5. Monitoring and Evaluation
5.1 Worker monitoring involved in this project
5.2 Output monitoring
5.3 Project evaluation that will be divided into weekly, monthly and final project.

50 Households (100 peoples) of Labuang, Puawang, Baruga, Baurung, Tande Village.
