Kilimo Talii Meru South Project by KENFAP
Kilimo Talii is an agrotourism promotion project based in Meru South to the East of Mt Kenya. It involves community members who neighbour Mt Kenya and grow tea for a livelihood. The project hopes to develop a tourist resort, engage former Mt Kenya loggers in gainful tree planting /tourism activities and contribute to branding of the Mt Kenya World Heritage Site by selectively allowing agricultural producers employing good production and conservation practices include awareness messages in the packaging of their finished products between 2008 and 2010.
