Enhancing Food Security and Agricultural Incomes Through Information and Services for Migration Dependent Households in Kotda Block
Objective: ? Enhance capacities of village groups to plan agricultural/NRM improvements; mobilize resources and undertake implementation with sustainability.
? Food security for families participating in FTTG testing & Demonstration in five villages
? Change attitudes of poor families towards agriculture/NRM improvement in five villages.
? Evolving sets of replicable sustainable agricultural/NRM practices that are appropriate for different categories of families of migrants based on their resources, abilities and preferences.
? Knowledge building in forty villages of Kotra Region on natural resource base for strong convergences between agriculture and food security.
Output:
? 5 Number of new VDG are active in development of village
? Farmers get information about new innovations and practices in agriculture improvement
? Farmer's in project villages have resource persons available in the area
? Farmer's involved in developing, testing and evolving technologies are able to interact for better results
? Land and Water development in five project village
? 50 ha land belonging to 60 participating farmer's in FTTG are able to provide production sufficient to provide food security
? Community in 40 villages get knowledge about the project activities
? Participating Farmer's and village community are able to interact on various testing and demonstrations
? Farmer's in project villages are able to get exposure and trained to agriculture technologies
? Project team is able to result better implementation of project
? Process of project implementation and best practices are documented fro wider application
