Restoration of degraded Fig species and promoting the production of dried fruits and vegetables in till village in Nablus Governorate
Project on restoration of degraded Fig species and production of dried fruits and vegetables in till village in Nablus Governorate. The project will contribute to restoration and sustainable use of 10 degraded fig species in 3000 dunum at till village in Nablus Governorate through implementation of on-farm and field conservation, introducing new Fig species, and planting more than 1,000 Fig's seedling. The project will provide potential for income generation for marginalized groups (150 women and 300 farmers) through establishing a focus on developing the capacity of the targeted groups on how to conserve Fig trees, use solar dryers in production of dried fruits and vegetables, wiled plants, food keeping and how to market their products at the local market.
