During the project implementation period the extensive study and analysis of the main ecological problems have been conducted, which have led to mobilizing the local community around the problem of nature degradation. As a result a community based organization "Kok Oyrok" has been formed. Project executers had visited local population in order to discuss and identify prior problems of pasture degradation and the ways of their solution, jointly assess of local needs. Additional meetings with participation representatives of the local government, local forestry, NGOs have been conducted. On the basis of learned information and with the support of international consultant the local needs assessment Instrument have been developed for identifying prior problems and responding methods. As a result, relying on the Instrument findings a project proposal the main idea of which is a solving problems of pasture degradation through improving their capacities.
