38 families-members of Jamaat "Sultan Jer" were involved in project implementation process. They formed a Team to plant fruit and berry saplings in degraded zones and concluded agreements on financial support according to the developed and admitted financial mechanisms of revolving and effective use of funds.5750 saplings of poplar and apple tree, 2000 saplings of raspberries and blackberries were purchased and planted. Fruit shrub planting tutorials were developed in relief to the concerned people.
At the same time an information campaign was conducted to increase public awareness of global and local ecological problems, ways of their reduction: 474 persons were educated in 11 training seminars, 5 billboards and 2 informational boards were installed, 3 newspaper articles were published, 15 minutes 2 videos were shut. A photo story have been compiled. Five hundred brochures, 1000 booklets and 1000 posters have been publised. They reflect project activity and project results.
By the end of the project funds that had been distributed based on the financial mechanism were returned. And a new cycle of fund distribution have started. New agreements have been signed. Tewnty one households reveived from 10000 to 20000 soms, in total 240000 soms have been distributed based on the financial mechanism.
Project implementation have been analyzed, and new recommendations on mitigation of land degradation through creation of a fruit anf berry garden have been elaborated. A consultant in gardening is hired and recommendations on gardening have been developed also.
