In implementation of this project were actively involved village headmen, district officers, local population, village health committee workers, local school teachers. Throughout the project implementation period there was conducted a wide information campaign about POPs, harmful affects of trush burning to human health and environment, how to sort trashes, use of alternative energy sources and other ecological problems. The seminars, lessons in schools, meetings with local population were conducted. As a result a local population get aware about trush sorting instead of burning them. The polyethylene wastes receiving point has been constructed and organized, the local population get an opportunity to sale polyethylene wastes, it stimulated them to sort wastes instead of burning them. Among the local population have been distributed bags for collecting sorted trushes. Demonstration of solar heating devices arouse an interest among the local population in use them. On the whole the project has achieved the main purpose - to rise a population awareness about POPs and renewable energy sources.
