The project that is within the framework of international waters protection and management, protection and preservation of the landscape beauty of the region of Vilankulo, an area rich in coastal-marine biodiversity; the region is prone to land degradation due to natural disasters and inadequate human practices; the project will establish a green lung (municipal garden) in Vilankulo in a spot with a scenic view of the harbor; it will also establish an internet café, public sanitation, a green house for production of flowers, a drainage system to channel waters of part of the village waterfront to the sea/bay, and a small warehouse for storage of materials and equipment.
