Turkish Seed Network Secretariat and Traditional Agriculture Training Project
The project aims to strengthen the network of people in Turkey who are advocating the conservation of local seeds (or local varieties) which form a significant portion of the agricultural biodiversity of Turkey and the entire world (Turkey is the gene source for wheat for instance). With the project, together with the conservation of local agrobiodiversity, there will also be advocacy for improving the policy and the legislation at the national level as well as training regarding the traditional methods of agriculture.
