This project will result in the development of a case study which will identify the lessons learned from a very successful waste recycling project in Antigua and Barbuda. The goal of the project is to "develop and disseminate a knowledge product which will inform, educate and influence national and community recycling initiatives within and outside Antigua and Barbuda".

The objectives of the project are to: (i) prepare a video script which will meet the goal of the project within two weeks of project approval; (ii) identify the best technical production and editing company that can meet the requirements of the project within the budget and within one week of project commencement; and (iii) circulate the DVD widely and record, monitor and learn from comments and feedback received.

Project activities will include the preparation of a video script; selection of a production and editing company; production and editiing of the video; and the establishment of a monitoring system for the video as part of a Knowledge Management Strategy.

We expect that this video will help to emphasis the importance of recycling as part of a community and national environmental management strategy and how a cash from trash policy could work in SIDS.
