The Portland Bight Area of a Clarendon is a Coastal Protected Area in Jamaica which, historically, has always been vulnerable to flooding, storm surge, hurricanes, fire and drought. In recent years, the frequency and intensity of these events have increased, making natural disasters an almost annual occurence in the area. This project seeks to increase the resilience of the vulnerable coastal communities and ecosystems in area to Climate Change.
