Development of the intensive aquaculture as an effective way to decrease pressure on natural fish stock populations in Aral Sea watershed
The project will create the basis and disseminate information and learning materials on a very cost-effective method of fish farming. The method implies keeping and growing fish stock at a special system with a closed-circled water supply. The system will have a set regime of temperature and nutrition. As a result, the project plans to show that this method is hundred times more cost-effective than extracting fish stock from the natural water bodies and thus redirect fishermen from the extraction towards the fish farming.
