PROEJCT DEVELOPMENT OBJECTIVES :
1. Conserving Tarsius Bancanus Saltator in Belitung District
2. Increasing data regarding Tarsius Bancanus Saltator and to shift current ?Data Deficient? status in Appendix II Cites/IUCN
3. Shifting community point of view regarding Tarsius Bancanus Saltator and to utilize the existence of Tarsius Bancanus Saltator in increasing community welfare
4. Increasing conservation status of Tarsius Bancanus Saltator
5. Developing eco-tourism based on conservation principles through the utilization of the existence of Tarsius Bancanus Saltator and tourism potential of Mount Tajam in order to increase community welfare

EXPECTED OUTPUTS:
1. Shifted community point of view regarding Tarsius Bancanus Saltator
2. Established community groups who care and take part in Tarsius conseravtion efforts.
3. Increased community income through eco-tourism in Mt. Tajam
4. Increased population of Tarsius Bancanus Saltator, especially in Mt. Tajam and Belitung District

ACTIVITIES TO BE CONDUCTED :
1. Conservation, through conservation of forest ecosystem as habitat of Tarsius Bancanus Saltator and awareness-based efforts, and the involvement of local community and community groups through :
- Directly conserving and protecting Tarsius Bancanus Saltator habitat in Mt. Tajam from various threats, such as forest destruction and timber felling, or other community activity.
- Composing participative plan regarding conservation efforts that will be done with community and other stakeholders
- Protecting traditional wisdom that has already existed within community
- Conducting destructed environment and Tarsius Bancanus Saltator habitat rehabilitation in Mt. Tajam

2. Education, by inviting community, environment group, and other community group to save, protect, and conserve Mt. Tajam forest and Tarsius Bancanus Saltator, through :
- Socialization and campaign through electronic media, brochure, school visits, as well as other activities such as ?clean operation?, camping activity, etc
- Strengthening local community and other organization understanding to actively participate in protecting Tarsius Bancanus Saltator habitat and Mt. Tajam ecosystem
- Protecting traditional wisdom that has already existed within community to conserve their environment
- Increasing research and data collecting of Tarsius Bancanus Saltator from various aspects

3. Policy, by contributing advise, advocacy, and knowledge regarding the importance of policy to protect Tarsius Bancanus Saltator and forest ecosystem, both at village level and district level, through :
- Contributing advise to local government and other stakeholders regarding the importance of conservation of Mt. Tajam forest ecosystem and Tarsius Bancanus Saltator habitat
- Composing and Implementing policy to ensure the sustainability and conservation (through research, local wisdom, field study)

4. Productivity, by increasing community welfre through sustainable utilization concept based on conservation principles such as eco tourism and utilization of other natural resources in Mt. Tajam protected forest, through :
- Identifying and composing utilization concept and management based on ecological study, conservation management, and natural resources potentials
- Strengthening organizational management
