Taking local community beekeeping in the Baviaanskloof to a commercial level
Build a honey processing plant fo the existing local community beekeepers in the Baviaanskloof in order for the community to effectively extract honey from their hives and market and sell the honey commercially. This will decrease the pressure on the existing wild hives, contribute to the maintenance and growth of a healthy bee population in the community apiary, result in job creation and the successful business development of a previously disadvantaged community-owned beekeeping project that can compete efficiently in the commercial arena.
