Participation of youth in inventorying forest biodiversity in the Rodnei Mountains National Park
The project aims to promote sustainable management of forest ecosystems by involving youth from the communities surrounding the target biosphere reserve, which is a Carpathian biodiversity hot spot. The project will include training of students on biodiversity inventorying and monitoring, best practices guides on biodiversity monitoring, brochures on forestry secondary products, photo exhibitions and public awareness campaigns, to establish a participatory system for biodiversity monitoring that can be replicated in other protected areas in Romania.
