Capacity building and marketing mechanism for nature products by National Nature Farming Network
According to the NCR, the largest percentage of forests belongs to Ratnapura district. This project proposes to minimize the adverse effects caused by surrounding communities with sustainable utilization of nature products. This focuses on developing alternate income generation for the community thus driving them on community based conservation initiatives, being the activities, integrating 25 organizations towards a marketing mechanism, establishing consumer societies, establishing a sales center in Colombo and developing the capacities of organizations on organic products

Inovative Financial Mechanisms
All financial activities will be managed by proposed ?Company of Environmentally Friendly Consumer products Sales? consisting of 25-member organizations, establishing under the National Nature Farming Network (NNFN). The Director Board of the Company should approve expected estimates of monthly expenditures in advance.
