project that aims to promote conservation of the historical heritage of Chirindzene sacred forest while enhancing preservation of biodiversity of the region; simultaneously the project will promote locally based ecotourism to accommodate the increasing demand of visiting tourists; local communities will join efforts with local administrative authorities and civil society organizations that work in the region like ACOSADE in preserving the local environment; environmental sustainability will be achieved through promotion of sustainable land management and diversification of livelihood support activities of local communities.
