project that aims to consolidate community work in management of natural resources of Nhangau, an area by the western coast of the Indian Ocean close to the Zambeze delta, rich in mangrove communities that uphold coastal marine species, recycle nutrients, eliminate toxins and control soil erosion; the region has rich flora and fauna biodiversity, and is highly productive in fish resources; it upholds various communities of fishermen; the project will limit environmental degradation through rehabilitation of mangrove communities of the region, and will promote sustainable livelihoods through diversification of subsistence activities.
