project that aims to contribute to the preservation of this important coastal-marine ecosystem of the south of the Maputo Game Reserve, within the Maputaland Centre of endemism; surrounding local communities pose a pressure on sea turtles and coastal dune forests, and the project will contribute to the preservation of these species and habitats through community participation in management of local resources together with local tourism entrepreneurs, local traditional and administrative authorities, while improving and diversifying local livelihood subsistence activities.
