School Environment Conservation Project
School Environment Conservation Project
Context:

School children are effective agents for change. When applied environmental education is imparted to them, it is expected that they will apply it at school and around their respective homes. In addition, they will grow with the acquired skills and knowledge to adulthood where they will become environmentally responsible citizens with the resultant transfer of the knowledge to their offspring. Therefore, this project intends to impart environmental education to school children in Tanga district with the view to improving present school compounds and broader environment conservation initiatives in the region.

About the NGO:

Project?s Primary Objective:

To provide practical environment education to 12 schools in Tanga district for conservation of school environs and adjacent villages.

Secondary Objective:

To equip school students with environment management knowledge and skills so that they grow into becoming environmentally responsible citizens during adulthood.
