The goal of the Project: To Restore the hydrological regime of the river Vetlitsa in Stolin district Brest oblast for flood prevention, rehabilitation of former fish spawning areas and traditional river usage by local population
Main objectives:
1. To elaborate the construction project on rehabilitation of hydrological regime of r. Vetlitsa
2. To Implement the construction project on rehabilitation of hydrological regime of r. Vetlitsa
3. To carry out environmental monitoring for the rehabilitation of river ecosystem ( fish and birds variety, water quality)
Expected results ? The main results of the project will be flow renewal of river Vetlitsa along with the river ecosystem. Local population has the possibility of traditional river usage. The levels of floods at r. Gorun? are reduced
