Justification
The role of our foundation ?LIFE WITH DIGNITY? for the implementation of the project is to spread the model for interaction between young generation and retired people through education for the goal of changing the climate, energy efficiency and preservation of the environment, to deepen the information acquisition and understanding of the young people of the problems, related to energy consumption, emission of greenhouse gases and to develop their skills how to express their standpoint and how to be an example for other people.

? Adolescents and young people (age between 6 and 18) ? at least 30-50 people

Target groups which shall be indirect beneficiaries of the project ? Related educational institutions and decision-taking institutions.

Objectives and expected results
The overall goal of the project is:
- to improve the information level and understanding of the young people of the problems, related to energy consumption, emission of greenhouse gases and
- to develop their skills how to express their standpoint.

Major activities
? Creation of a working group for the project
? Research and establishing contact with the target group, analysis and estimate of the information needs and educational needs, related to the topics climate change, energy efficiency and environment protection
? Research and analysis for creation of untraditional educational municipality clubs? form of holding ecologic exercises for children, for the purpose of achievement of sustainability of the project. We will carry our research in five educational municipality clubs located in Sofia city.
? Introduction of the competent authorities at regional level to the results of the enquiries for the purpose of acceleration and aiding the processes of decision-making for measures and initiatives in this area.
? Preparation of internet page of the project with dedicated opportunity for on-line consultations and e-forum for exchange of good practices
? Research, analysis and installation of solar system for heating of domestic water
? Preparation of teaching modules and holding teaching sessions for retired people
? Elaboration of a business plan for eco-classes for children
? Preparation of eco-club for children with eco-classes
? Monitoring of solar system for heating of domestic water
? Organization of a competition between the eco-groups, which will create the opportunity to demonstrate diminishing of the emission of greenhouse-gases, as well as to share the implementation of their energy-planning solutions
? Elaboration and printing out of handbook for eco-club
? Information campaign for the project
? Documentations and analysis. Introduction of the competent authorities at national and municipality levels to the approaches applied in the project and helping the processes of decision- making and initiatives in this bias.
Sustainability
We will carry out research of the opportunities for funding of the untraditional discussion form of education, through association of schools, educational municipality clubs and spreading of the eco-tourism through ecologic exercises of the children. Analysis will be enriched by the experience of the foundations and NGO?s functioning through self-funding mechanisms, which guarantees the sustainability of their activities, as well as long-term impact upon the target groups.
