? As forseen in the original project the Grantee linked the project with another Italian partner that helped in co-financing part of the activities such as : marketing, documenting , improving the dryer and training courses. The delay to finalize these activities had appositive impact on the project, since the beneficiaries get more knowledge and experience to produce and market their herbs.
? The project had enough time to finalize a complete agricultural circle, which returns with benefit on the project by giving more product form the beneficiaries? who dried 50% of their product, also on the beneficiaries themselves by the continues following up by the project agronomists.
? The Italian partners worked with the grantee to exhibit the fried medical herbs in Italy through agricultural festivals, which will open new chances for the dryer to export the product to Europe through cooperation with specialized Italian NGOs. The Italian partner is interest in continuing the support for the dryer because of the good results achieved.
? The dryer through this project had insured the sustainability by producing more than 8000 pocket that will be distributed in the market, also by contracting 50 farmers that will supply the dryer with the needed herbs for drying, which will guarantee more sustainable results of the project, as the outputs of the production cycle will be shared by the families and the project on a 50:50 ratio. The shares of the project will be reused again in new production cycles to maintain the impact sustainability.
? The beneficiary?s families were able through this project to get a sustainable income that will improve their situation. The average income of each family is 3000 NIS Per season.
