Exceptional Society will be conducting a local review of the carbon footprint of a selection of individuals living in Nilufer municipality of Bursa and will be developing a software to keep track of the changes in individual carbon footprints of the participants to the survey (which will be input by themselves). Through the survey, training of individuals and their hands-on observation of their own carbon image on a weekly basis, the project will help build awareness in the municipality. The grantee will also aim to create a carbon footprint calculation methodoloy that would suit more to the Turkish context rather than the available methods used for developed countries.
