Controlling Red Spider mite Infestations in field-grown strawberries in Bait Lahia in Gaza
The project aims at controlling the red spider mite infestations in field-grown strawberries in Bait Lahia in Gaza, through spreading the P. persimilis voracious natural enemy. The P. persimilis is used as a biological control against the red spider. This predatory mite will be used as an alternative for the large amounts of chemical pesticides used by farmers in the past in the strawberry fields.
