Application of alternative and energy-saving technologies to meet energy needs of rural clinic
Application of alternative and energy-saving technologies to meet energy needs of rural clinic
This planning project prepares the ground for a full-fledged project on renovation of a rural clinic in mountainous area in Kashkadaya province. The clinic does not electricity for 16-20 hours a day and it is very cold in winter inside the building. This prevent the clinic to work properly and serve people. The patients can only come and receive any medical help either early in the morning (from 7 till 9) or come during day time when no medical appliances are working and there is no hot water.
The GEF SGP project plans to see how the energy system of the clinic can be renovated in order to meet energy needs of it without relying on the conventional grid and heating system. The project will held full energy audit of the building and prepare a plan for the full-fledged project.
