Integrated project for Promotion of Ecotourism based livelihood and non conventional energy sources around the Biosphere”
. Objective: Increasing the livelihood ambit of the targeted hilly community tribal members through ;local conservation of Ringal and alternate energy sources
Activities:
? Strengthening of Bio tourism park (BTP) in the areas through community ownership by the CBO through the SHGs.
? Less energy consumption for Cooking food
18Project Sustainability:
? Institutional: Committee will be formed which will help in strengthening BTP. Project states that The structure will have multi-utility option since organization of mass meeting of SHGs, semi processing of local herbal and fruit products, training program etc. Land (800 sq. mtr.) is available for the construction of the proposed structure which is jointly managed by the core committee of the project and organization.
? Social: Project will increase in the productive time of the community members through distribution of energy efficient technology such as distribution of Water heating Hamams, Pressure cookers, introduction of Bio gas plant, orientation towards Solar energy application devices (light and water heating), distribution of improved tool kits to the artisans and other related technologies. These activities will help in ensuring sustainability and replicability of the project.

6Trainings of SHGs for Enterprisse Marketing, Design Development, Training related to organic farming, Training of Water Productivity in Agriculture for livelihood throuch teaching cum demonestration.
Emphasis on Sustainable Livelihoods
Organisation have formned more than 24 Ringaal/Bamboo Handicrafts SHGs and these groups are involved in the enterprise development, Sale of Articrafts and handicrafts items. 6 SHGs are working for the promotion and Sale of Organic Farm Produce. 4 SHGs are associated in the form of Semi Processing of local fruit and vegetables. 2 women SHGs are working for the Cultivation and propagation of Medicinal Plants, The SHGs are earning through the sale of plant sapling of different plant species.
