SGP contribution in India's effort to green the commonwealth games and empower school childrens and citizens on low carbon practices and better hand print approaches. Create awareness on low carbon practices by involving school children, citizens at large , institutions and SGP partners in the cities along the Queen Baton Relay route in India. Ensuring plantation in schools , villages and common places along the Queen Baton relay route through SGP team and NFD teams. Prepare 3000 students from 150 schools across states in India to act as young environment ambassadors with a special focus on climate change. Sensitze public at large at places about sustainable lifestyles in cities along the route of the common wealth Games ( QBR). Neutralize the excess carbon emissions during the commonwealth games by distribution of plants to all the participating schools. Develop a model for community based environment action and create a sense of responisibility in citizens of Delhi and other cities towards theri own environment.
