Scaling UP Sub soil irrigation program to support marginal farmers from drought pone areas in horticulture to ensure sustainable agricultural practices.
Goal: Up scaling of irrigation technique to e-establish eco-cycle by organic farming and ensuring efficient use of water and nutrient for horticultural crops in the drought prone areas of jath block of Sangli district of Maharastra?. Leading to better soil fertility and local biodiversity development.

? To Up scaling of Subsoil irrigation technique to re-establish eco-cycle by organic farming.
? To ensuring efficient use of water and nutrients for horticultural crops in the drought prone areas of Jath block of Sangli district of Maharashtra leading to better soil fertility and local biodiversity development.

Project Strategy: The project strategy will have a larger focus to develop mutual respect, community ownership and sustainable action will have three phase approach namely:
Phase I- Mobilize the community through the use of participatory micro planning techniques to identify analysis and prioritize the needs of the community. The communities needs will then to develop into comprehensive village work plans as outcome.
Phase II- Facilitate and promote informal, kingship based ?common interest self help groups for increasing self help , collective bargaining community negotiations and for implementation of the program according to the VWPs.
Phase III- Enhance the skill and capacity of a range of local community volunteers and local resource grass root person to plan, implement, manage and monitor resource and activities to the VWPs.

? Project strategy used will focus to develop mutual respects, community ownerships and sustainable actions in the project
