GOAL
The realization of community survival-ship through the balance of island ecological in Wailago Sub-village, Besar Island, East Nusa Tenggara.

OBJECTIVES
Objective 1 : To improve community knowledge for the preservation and improvement of ecosystem
Indicator : 1. The presence of learning schedule, learning materials/modules, teachers/facilitators;
2. The establishment of community group
Activity : 1. Giving knowledge through people learning forums in Wailago home school. This learning forum becomes the media to transfer knowledge, particularly about the ecosystems, marine farming, alternative agriculture in dry land, and so forth.
2. Inviting guest teachers for dry land farming and marine farming, as well as the implementation of the revitalization of dry land farming and seaweed farming of people in Besar Island.
3. Facilitating the establishment and strengthening community group
Objective 2 : To reduce the impact of natural disasters from the sea by planting mangroves.
Indicator : The presence of mangrove plants ecosystem in the coastal of Wailago;
Activity 1. Planting mangroves by Wailago residents in the coastal of sub village to retain the natural waves and to prevent more severe impact in case of a tsunami. This mangroves can also be a place for other habitats such as fish, crabs, etc., that could strengthen the citizen food source.
Objective 3 : To balance the community-based small island ecosystem
Indicators : 1. The presence of sub village regulation about marine preservation that is obeyed;
2. The presence of pilot project of dry land agricultural land management;
3. The conservation of new coral reefs in Wailago waters;
4. The development of seaweed plants owned by residents.
Activities 1. Designing local rules for the sustainability of ecosystems along with the community as a reference in managing Wailago ecosystems through the process of deliberative discussions;
2. Making a pilot project of agricultural dry land and to disseminate that among Wailago community and to enforce the making of fertilizers from goat manure owned by the community;
3. Carrying out the planting of coral reefs in the waters of Wailago as an effort to improve marine ecosystem;
4. Carrying out replanting of seaweeds in the waters of Wailago owned by the residents.

The residents of Wailago sub village: 56 head of households or 203 people.
