YUTAFORD Apiculture Project is to combat land degradation and improve the micro-climate in Yumbe district by planting trees; increase food production by planting early-maturing vegetable crops and fruit trees which can tolerate prolonged dry seasons; diversify sources of household income by strengthening bee-keeping activities as well as the Village Savings and Loan Association (VSLA)
