Public Awareness for Conservation of Peatlands in Agaçbasi Highlands
The project is to create a publication about peatlands in the highlands of the eastern Black Sea region, with a view to raise awareness and to enable the conservation and sustainable use of peatlands in Turkey. The grantee, through a booklet, a brochure and a poster, togehter with dissemination activities regarding peatlands, aims to improve the awareness on peat ecosystems, starting from the local people and authorities as they are the immediate users of this renewable source.
