All of the objectives of the project were fully achieved in the kindergarten Hodrusa-Hamre. On the building of the kindergarten were exchanged all the windows and front doors which according to the energy audit will save annually 34 MWh of energy, what is approximately 2065 euro. A training centre for the spread of information about the project and ecology was also built and there were organised 2 trainings focused on insulation of buildings and solar panels. The project was advertised through the website of the village as well as the report for the TASR (The News Agency of the Slovak Republic) and the article in the regional press.
Moreover, the windows on the Fire Station in the village were also exchanged, windows on the Municipal Office were exchanged and the building was insulated and the individual households also began to invest into the energy improvements.
Municipal Office of Hodrusa-Hamre established under its auspices a non-profit organisation called Srdce plus (Heart plus) which is aimed to operate and manage the ecological fund as well as education in the field of ecology in the village where they also supported activities with the Roma community.
