Production of Forest Plants (samplings)
There are a number of environmental issues that has hampered agriculture and sustainable livelihoods in Ribeirão Campo de Cão. Soil erosion appears to be one of the major problems in the region. Steep slopes, deforestation, and unsustainable agricultures practices are the drivers of soil erosion. The project proposes production of 15,000 forest plants, which will enable reforestation of 25 ha of land.
