Recycling Agricultural Waste into Compost to Protect the Climate and Improve the Lives of Bedouin
Farm waste recycling for organic compost production, to protect the climate and improve bedouins life
The project is mainly concerned with the rural and suburban areas where bedouins live at the present time, collect the farm waste, to feed their animals and burn the rest.
A simple shredder and aerator , either electrically or diesel driven, would break the farm waste and aerate it, which will then be added to manure, to increase land fertility.
By teaching the local community the proper way to deal with this waste, they will get extra income, acquire some skills and improve their environment.
Project Objectives :
- Solving the agricultural wastes problem and improve environmental and health conditions by stopping the continuous burning of any extra agricultural wastes.
- Create new job opportunities for local communities.
- Eventually better fertility for the cultivated land.
