Restoration of Rangeland at Alidege Kebele, Amibara Woreda, Afar Region
This project aims to contribute to the efforts of the community, the government and the international community to curb the negative effects of climate change and strengthen the conservation of biological diversity at Alidege Kebele in Amibara Woreda through assisting the community in Alidege kebele to restore the range lands by clearing undesirable plants, improving the water facility and reseeding of indigenous and improved pasture species; improving the capacity of the community and the Amibara Woreda to mitigate the alarming climate change impacts and maintain friendly ecosystem; conducting a climate change audit across the Amibara Woreda and assist the Woreda Administration to develop a long term plan to mitigate climate change effects using its own resources and all opportunities coming in the future.
