This planning grant gives people in the community and local authorities the opportunity to participate in the design of a full proposal for the MAP-CBA programme through the Vulnerability Reduction Assessment process. It will establish baseline data on community vulnerability to climate change Using this participatory method will ensure accountability and that appropriate activities, outputs and outcomes are proposed, based on community need. It will also be used to consult a technical expert to review the technical sustainability of proposed activities.
