All the goals of the forest restoration have been fully achieved, even exceeded, especially in the area of planting trees, pruning willows, number of volunteers involved in the activities in the field as well as promoting the importance of willow trees and spread of information. 10 000 local residents were informed about better usage of heat at home by use of cheaper means. A total of 25,5 ha of area was worked on during the project which is 11,2 ha more than originally planned. Around 120 people were involved in the collection of biomass, of which the number of Roma, unemployed, or other disadvantaged groups of people was 100. Processing biomass and subsequent production of briquettes and pellets helped to create two permanent jobs and 2-6 seasonal jobs and every day was produced at least 300 kg of fuel mass. Residents of surrounding village Velky Lel were able to obtain fuel for symbolic terms.
The final product of the project was not only ensuring proper management of local floodplain forest CHKO Dunajske luhy, but also raising awareness of local natural resources and options of their sustainable use - either as a source of cheap fuel or for leisure.
