Climate Change and the challenge of meeting the livelihood needs of human and animals in Pastoral communities in Gombe State: Moringa Oleifera to the rescue.
The impact of climate change is increasingly manifesting on the livelihood of people of Gombe state, thereby causing serious health problems, due to this health impact, Moringa Oleiferira a fast-growing tree is grown throughout the tropics for human food, livestock forage, medicine, dye, and water purification.

Project activities include community mobilization and sensitization; conducting situation analysis and mapping of the community including baseline assessment; set-up a project management team; identifying 500 participating households; raising nurseries of Moringa; train community on growth and uses of Moringa and water harvesting; monitoring and evaluation; introducing sustainability plan; and develop outreach and advocacy plans. Groups involved are the farmers, women and the youths of the community.
