Integrating Livelihood Enhancement and Alternative Projects into Sustainable Land Management in Ojope land. (Ofoke, Apa LGA of Benue State)
Project goal is to reduce poverty and land degradation occasioned by unsustainable land management and climate change risk through participatory community empowerment and environmentally sustainable management of resources.
Project activities include; Sustainable Land Management (SLM): Baseline Survey, Sustainable Land Management (SLM): agricultural shows, field learning visits and experience sharing,sustanaible land management: Education & Advisory outreaches through flyers and person visits and workshops, Establishment and training of Alternative Livelihood Cooperatives, Improvement and Construction of Rural Infrastructures. The farmers and youths of the community are specifically involved.
