Introduction of small-scale alternative energy-efficient technologies among rural people
The aim of the project (which is a result of the planning project) is to introduce small-scale alternative and energy effective technologies among rural population of Uzbekistan. The project wants to change the perception of the rural people towards more sustainable energy consumption technologies by demonstrating very handy and easy to use technologies. In order to achieve this, the project will:
demonstrate the technologies;
train people how to use them;
train local craftsmen how to build and sell them;
distribute the instructions on how to build and use the technologies as wide as possible.
The project will also try to involve business in producing these easy technologies by organizing a business forum/exhibition of alternative mini-energy technologies.
The technologies include mycro-hydro, biogas, solar-stoves, etc. All the technologies will be cheap in order to attract as many people to use them as possible.
