- A demonstration mini-shop was established to reproduce and grow valuable species of the native ichthyofauna by means of building a special space for incubation and growing sections as well as by procuring and installing necessary equipment: incubation units, a pool for whitebait growing and male keeping, and pipelines.
- The mini-shop for native fish species reproduction ensures protection of 37 fish species and functions as part of OJSC ?Rivne RMS? production capacities after completion of the project.
- An ichthyologic study on ecomorphology and dissemination of valuable native fish species in Rivne oblast was conducted. As a result a Cadastre of Rivne Region Fish was developed to examine fish biodiversity and provide these data to the population.
- Five information and educational activities were conducted for more than 90 students and teachers of the National University of Water Management and Nature Management, Rivne State Humanitarian University, Dubno Culture School, and Dubno Pedagogical College.
- In order to raise public awareness two information workshops on protection and reproduction of ichthyofauna and a scientific conference ?Ways of preserving and restoring fishery and water ecosystems in Polissya region? were carried out with the participation of over 200 persons.
- The project printed the brochure ?Protecting and reproducing Rivne oblast ichthyofauna? (150 copies), the collection ?Ways of preserving and restoring fishery and water ecosystems in Polissya region? (400 copies), book ?The Cadastre of Rivne Region Fish? (600 copies) and disseminated them among the public in Rivne city and Rivne oblast.
- 959 persons participated in the project (426 women aged 25-60, 518 men aged 28-55 and 15 children aged 7-18).
