Bat is one of most important mammal that many villagers do not know well about it?s' roles in controlling agriculture pest insects and seed dispersal function in the regenerating forest. Destroying its habitat like forests and caves by employing different tools and ways increase its vulnerability to population decline specially in areas where concentration of population is relatively high. In addition, majority of population continue to apply chemicals in agriculture sector and hunting bat for consumption and sell in the local market as additional source of income. Bat waste "Guano" concession by local government to Chinese traders is one of many threats being faced by rapidly dwindling bat population.
