Project had completed 178 hectares of the indigenous and community conservation areas, installation of signage was set up. The community forest management regulation is under the development process.The water storage tank for community was also completed and construction of the tank was both participated by community and private sectors. There are 1500 people have been benefiting from the system. In addition, the project was visited by GEF Constituency meeting participants on 27th Oct. 2011. Kewkacham farmers grow sweet bamboo, lemon, orange in 26 hectare of their own land that has been supported by project.

As of this time, the project have put out signage for the protected area and at the water source. Certain difficulties was encountered in the course of project implementation e.g. villages does not agree with the the conservation of Protected Area because there is somewhat little understanding on the concept of sustainable use of natural resources and/or regulation set out by the project was deemed as form of restriction to their dependence to the forested areas. The project address these issues by conducting meeting, trainings and awareness raising on conservation of protected areas. However, 92% of the project activities is attained and 70% of water is being distributed to the villagers. Zoning of different land-use was also completed and approximately 85% of rules and regulation on use water was also set-up. The water committee and administration was also established to facilitate efficient distribution of water to members, this include formulation of rules to protect watershed areas and promote sustainable use of water resource. Nonetheless, the project have on-going activities and is planning to extend distribution of water to neighboring villages and there is also a plan to more water tanks. Lessons learned in the project include community cooperation is vital in the success of the project. Lessons learned on efficient water use and land-use zones are also shared among communities. The project noted that the distribution of water to the communities made a positive impact in their daily lives.
