Project aim to support women groups producing traditional rice wine as alternative source of income and other linking activities e.g. produce rice wine will consequent of waste that can use raising pig, pig produce waste that can use as organic fertilizer for household gardening.

Emphasis on Sustainable Livelihoods

All activities project has encouraged target group what for contribute local people improvement their livelihood, traditional rice wine produce can get income to grow family economic, livestock and planting out of for families food security hey are can be goods. Agriculture program that project support its people have basic skill long time for their living and project focus on organic products, traditional rice wine produce will be ODOP product so it can get sustainable job as well.

Inovative Financial Mechanisms

Expenditure of the project follow donor, process of payment showing the evidence.

Capacity - Building Component

Project provides training course of organic agriculture to target village there are 31 persons attendance. People will know significant of organic produce its need for health and land?s biodiversity.

Gender Focus

These project women participates more than 50 % they join project for making plan, survey, implement and evaluation. Mostly local women have attended all process of the project.

Promoting Public Awareness of Global Environment

This project will be known to outside by the lesson learn with other project, project meeting and through by any local government activities.

Significant Participation of Indigenous Peoples

Traditional rice wine is alcohol production that rural people popular drink. All Lao people apply Traditional rice wine when they have traditional ceremony particularly people in rural area, this project sustenance people produce Lao liquor with stress applying organic raw material.

Notable Community Participation

Villagers join all process of project including survey, planning, implementation and evaluation project, local government very attentive and assistance project to encourage people sharing project and facility project policy.

Project Results

People participate on meeting to inform project aim 115 including 73 women, local government and village authority good cooperate as well.

Chief of district advice project selecting traditional rice wine products to be ODOP and take it specific products for Khamou ethnic, this activity can get sustainable job for local people.Chief of district also really concern the project should be access to poorest people.

Many families have interested the activities but they are not enough capital.
