The project managed to buy 20 honeybee boxes to villages with 24 families. During September to November 2011 the village produced 300 litters of honey. Activities also completed include construction of bee boxes and workshop for project members. The project managed to plant flowers for honeybees an estimated area of 5.2 ha at Kungthayon Village. A bee-keeping training was also carried out to project members and Agriculture Office at Thatheng district. Workshop involved processes on how to acquire honey with strict hygienic procedure and provision of safety gears during harvest of honey. Difficulties encountered during the course of the project implementation was the acquisition of building materials due to flooding in the neighboring country specially for the construction of bee yard. The project would like to increase land for flower plantation, the flowers were not adequate forcing the project to supply bees with sugar (1kilo/week), in consequent, operation cost also increase. Selling the products is also an issue because project have no or little experience in marketing. Some honey processing issues include no experience in extracting honey and members are seemingly afraid of being sting by the bees. The project suggest that there is lack of staff and little practical knowledge financial reporting.
