This project is a phase 1 extension of project number BAR/SGP/OP4/YEAR2/CORE/09/10 which will begin the solarisation process of a major community aquaponics facility. During phase 1, two "turn key" solar system kits capable of powering 2 of 9 individual systems will be established as a demonstration project. The goal is to provide a constant supply of renewable energy to the facility, which will reduce its carboin footprint and provide electricity supply during power outage periods such as in the imediate aftermath of storms and hurricanes.
