Protection of the Biodiversity of the Cabrits Marine Park through Sustainable Livelihoods
The objectives of the project are:

- To make arrangements for provision of capacity training to TVDC to assist in the implementation and management of the project

- Obtain a glass bottom boat powered by renewable energy which will allow for the development of viewing tours of the marine park

- Provide training for fishermen in the delivery of tourism services

- Training in appropriate safety and other maritime procedures with regards to the maintenance and operation of the boat. Development of healthy local practices as it relates to the sustainability of the marine park to include, data collection and monitoring in partnership with the Fisheries Division and Maritime unit

- Obtain requisite insurance required for the delivery of the services and provide employment opportunities for the boat operators and clients? economic opportunity for craft vendors on the beach
