Rodney?s Rock area is a historical site with other natural attractions to provide visitors with a special and different experience. It can become a flagship site in Dominica but must be improved to meet required standards for health, environmental health, insurance, planning and certification from the Discover Dominica Authority to allow for organised tours and activities such as snorkelling and diving.

The objectives of the project are:

- To refurbish, extend and upgrade facilities at the Rodney?s Rock as an eco-tourism site.
- To install fencing and security lights for better management and security.
- To train persons and build capacity to enable proper management of the facility and activities.
- To develop a flagship for tourism in Dominica
- To create more opportunities for income generating through employment or self-employment.
